Vidyasagar the national award winning music director is presently one of the most sought after music composers in Tamil and Malayalam film industry. From ever green melody 'Nee Katru' to soulful 'Orey Manam', from fast numbers like 'Appadi Podu' to classical numbers like 'Anandam Anandam' or 'Kana Kandenadi', Vidyasagar has done it all. The master of melodies and playful numbers has been forced of late to cater to the masses with fast and peppy numbers composed by him for movies starring Tamil superstars Vijay and Vikram proving big hits. Still, the master manages to come up with some surprisingly simple and easy on ears music as in 'Sadhurangam' and 'Thendral'. Short Bio...

Dr. "Kattassery Joseph Yesudas" (born January 10, 1940), is a noted South Indian musician and a leading playback singer for songs in many Indian languages. His film songs, mostly in Malayalam, continue to please millions throughout the world. He was born in Fort Kochi, Kerala to Augustine Joseph and Elizabeth Joseph. His father, who was his first guru (teacher), was a well known Malayalam classical musician and stage actor of his time.
